About Us
With our autism organizations experiencing rapid growth and high employee turnover, Amy and I were spending a significant amount of time providing classroom training to new employees. Wanting to spend more time with children in the field, we searched for an efficient alternative but came up empty.
Colleagues recommended textbooks, PowerPoint presentations and videos to replace our classroom lectures but we felt uneasy removing the interactive aspect to our 40-hour training sessions. We wanted new staff to be involved before the hands-on training component began.
Two years later, Autism Training Solutions was born.
With the help of our incredibly talented and dedicated team of behavior analysts, researchers, software developers, cinematographers, editors, professors, teachers and families we have been able to bring online staff training to organizations across the country.
Our organization is still growing and employee turnover remains high but we are now doing more of what we love – working with the kids.

We created seven core values to guide our operations and ensure every instructor trained with ATS has the tools to teach the challenged.
1) Empower the Instructor – Our foremost goal is to build the confidence and knowledge needed for an instructor to create and apply treatment plans for each unique individual in their care.
2) Deliver Evidence-Based Curriculum – Our online lessons train individuals in evidence-based autism interventions only.
3) Utilize Adult Learning Best Practices – Just like the children we serve, adults learn through bite size chunks of information coupled with positive reinforcement and immediate feedback. Our system is designed to deliver all three.
4) Provide 100% Video Lessons – No talking heads, no Power Points, no lines of text to read. Through unique partnerships with service providers, schools and families, we are able to film real children, across the spectrum, receiving evidence-based interventions within their natural environments.
5) Keep it Interactive – “People love to learn but hate to be taught.” With online interactive technology, adults can self-teach. Our quizzes, tests, resources and supervision provide the motivation to comprehend and finish all lessons independently.
6) Partner with Experts – Every training lesson undergoes a 40-hour critique from our in-house behavior analysts and outside experts.
7) Continuous Evaluation – Our team is continuously reviewing the validity of our content and evaluating the effectiveness of our product with service providers, schools and families.
